Poetic Reflection: Nirvana? Maybe, Burn, Baby’s Burning

The world is on fire, they’re telling me, the situation is dire,
It’s clear to see, apparently, I’m missing something…

My view is obscured by the beauty surrounding me.
The breath I am breathing is getting to me, deeply.
Inspired me to see things a little differently, meaning completely.

A brand new way of being displayed before me like a feast.

I know, it’s a famine but really, I’ve got this heart beating,
the rhythm depending on me to keep it in tune with the tune playing through me.
The indescribable melody, I dip from daily, skinny dip my life through the fingers of its streams.
The cool waters refresh and replenish me, they pleasure me in passing,
moving in unity with the greatest symphony ever imagined.
For just a moment sharing in it with me…

My surroundings, completing the cords in unity.
My veins transported the best of all things,
chemical reactions amounting to a feeling surpassing peace.
My blessings approaching and entering into union with me.
